Description:

With the signing of the peace on 29 December 1996, the armed conflict that lasted 36 long years ended in Guatemala.

This booklet has been prepared as a summary of the report “Guatemala: Memory of Silence” by the Commission for Historical Clarification, it’s goal is to facilitate and promote the knowledge and learning, on students of Basic Education, High School and Teachers about this part of history in Guatemala’s recent years.
